A man used to drama isn’t going to let an appearance on the National Lottery’s popular gameshow Winning Streak on RTE faze him.

And so it was, that Conna man Philip Peet remained cool, calm and collected on Saturday night last when he appeared on the ‘Dream Maker’ segment of the show to spin the wheel.

Philip spoke on the show of his active involvement with Conna Dramatic Society. What he didn’t tell them was that he won ‘Best Actor’ in the West Waterford drama festival in 2012 for his role as Michael in the society’s production of ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’. Philip wasted no time in setting the wheel in motion to net himself a tidy €15,000 for his efforts.
