A pedestrian crossing spanning the R369 outside the Amber Service Station, Fermoy, is high on a local councillor’s agenda. 

Speaking with The Avondhu this week, Cllr Noel McCarthy said: “There are a lot of people out in that area who cross near the Amber station.

“It’s a very busy crossing point on the road, with the Queen of Peace Church close by as well.”
