Glanworth natives, Alan and Ray Verso were back on home turf last Saturday for a major celebration to mark their 70th birthday.
The still sprightly twins were in top form as they oversaw a celebration that brought together family members, extended family, former neighbours, business acquaintances, political allies, representatives from motor sport along with individuals who travelled from India, Spain, Poland, Finland and Northern Ireland.
Prior to festivities, all the aforementioned attended Mass in Glanworth where the twins’ cousin, Fr. Donal McCarthy officiated.
