The Irish Patients Association is calling on parents and guardians of children to join together with them in ‘Flunion’ in the battle against flu this Winter by protecting their children, as well as the greater community, and getting the free nasal spray flu vaccine.

The ‘flunion’ campaign aims to highlight the importance of the child’s flu vaccine, which is available free of charge from local GPs and pharmacies throughout the country. The vaccine will not only help protect children aged 2-17 years from the flu, but by joining together to get vaccinated, it will also help the greater community ahead of the onset of flu.

The ‘Flunion’ campaign, kindly supported by AstraZeneca, seeks to empower parents and guardians with the knowledge and resources they need to safeguard their children and communities against the flu. For further information, please visit www.irishpatients.ie
