CentreStage Productions (Limerick) and Friars’ Gate will hold open auditions to find this year’s leading lady, Snow White, in Friars’ Gate Theatre, Kilmallock on Sunday, 17th November at 12 noon and are open to girls who can sing, act and dance.

Applicants must be aged between 18 – 25. Panto director Richie Ryan said: “Our Snow White is no pushover! We are looking for someone who has strong vocals and is comfortable moving around on stage. She needs to be able to exude confidence and relate to her audience. This is a great opportunity for a young actress to get her chance to join our pantomime team”.

Snow White tells the enchanting story of a young girl whose beauty bewitches a Prince and makes an enemy of her evil Step Mother. The love of seven dwarfs keeps her safe until she is woken by her one true love with a kiss. The humble apple takes a battering in this beloved tale but in the end it all turns out ‘happily ever after’.

Auditions for adult supporting roles and chorus (both children’s and teenager’s), will also take place on the 17th at 3pm. Children aged 8yrs plus are invited to come along and show their dancing, singing and acting skills. ‘Snow White’ opens in Friars’ Gate Theatre, Kilmallock on January 17th, 2014.
