Glanworth Players are delighted with 'The Maiden Aunt' opening weekend. Audience members where hugely responsive both nights, a delight to act for. Director Donal Howard's hard work and dedication to extracting every scrap of comedy from Jimmy Keary's script was plain to see.

'The Maiden Aunt' centres on the efforts of Dan and Mary Murphy to have Gertie (the aunt) make her will entirely in their favour. Even the best laid plans can fall apart so it's no surprise when Dan and Mary's hasty efforts run into trouble - to great comic effect!

Our run continues this weekend at Glanworth Community Centre, Friday at 8.30pm, Saturday at 8.15pm and Sunday at 8pm. Tickets at door €8 and €6.
