Open call for bursary applications

The opening of applications for bursary funding worth a total of €24,000 – open to all professional artists who are based in Limerick City and County Council’s administrative area, or operate substantially within Limerick City and County – has been announced.

Launched by Limerick City and County Council, it will see five Individual Arts Bursary Awards chosen, with one Dolores O’Riordan Music Bursary Award also available for eligible artists.

Funding is up to €4,000 for each award, to go towards the development of work/ professional skills.

The bursary scheme is designed to support Limerick-based professional musicians to develop their artistic practice.

Competitive awards, it is expected that many more applications will be received than is possible for Limerick City and County Council to support.
