Kilworth man Noel Clancy has invited embattled Government minister Barry Cowen, to come and visit the graves of his wife and daughter who were killed in December 2015 following a crash near their home in Kilworth with a driver on a provisional licence.
“Barry Cowen has dealt with and explained away the issue of drink driving, but I don’t think he has addressed or recognised the fact that continuous unaccompanied learner driving is a serious issue,” Noel said on Wednesday.
“I haven’t spoken to him, but I will invite Barry Cowen to come down here, to the cemetery where my wife and daughter are buried and I will explain to him the serious problem with unaccompanied learner drivers.”
