Nissan Dealers offer customers sneak-peek at eagerly awaited All-New Nissan LEAF

Nissan is giving customers a chance to check out the All-New Nissan LEAF a full two months before its official launch in Ireland thanks to a series of pre-launch and showcase events across its dealer network.

The events will take place at Nissan dealerships from Monday, 17^th November through to Sunday, 14^th December where customers can see the car up close, book a test-drive and place pre-orders ahead of the car’s arrival in showrooms next February.

Nissan organised the tour after being inundated by customers who want to be among the first to get their hands on the new EV which has a top range of up to 622 kilometres and the power to recover up to 420 kilometres after just 30 minutes of DC fast-charging.

‘We have had a phenomenal response to the car since we unveiled it at the recent NEVO EV Exhibition at the RDS. Customers love the sleek new design and that the car has been reimagined as a crossover to meet the needs of busy families,’ said Seamus Morgan, Managing Director of Nissan Ireland.

‘The Nissan LEAF was the world’s first mass-market EV, and this is the next step in its evolution. It goes further on one charge, it charges faster when you need to recharge, and it delivers impressive range at motorway speeds, which is great news for anyone thinking of making the switch to electric driving,’ he continued.

The 75kWh battery version has a range of up to 622 kilometres, while the 52kWh battery offers above 440 kilometres range. With a motorway range of up to 330 kms at 130 kph and up to 430 kilometres at 110 kph, and an energy consumption as low as 13.8 kWh/100km, longer journeys can be accomplished with fewer charging stops.

The onboard technology is designed for seamless integration. NissanConnect with Google built-in is at the heart of the connected experience, offering Google Maps with In Car Route Planner, Google Assistance for hands free control over navigation, media, climate and more, and Google Play for apps, streaming and productivity tools.

The all-new LEAF is also equipped with a suite of advanced safety and driver assistance features from Intelligent Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Intervention to Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Keep Assist. Its 3D Around View Monitor, Invisible Hood View and Front Wide View making parking and navigating tight spaces easier and safer.
