Following the completion of the extension at Roche’s Cycles in Mitchelstown, the size of the shop has nearly doubled and the Roche’s have now introduced a new range of products to cater for cyclists, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Jim Roche said that the additional space allowed them to put in a new showroom for the bikes, give the shop a more modern, spacious look and also to bring in more products that would cater for cyclists, but also people who are interested in walking, hiking and camping.

He said that they are ideally placed next to the Ballyhoura and Galtee mountains, so now they can act as a one-stop shop for people exploring the mountains and surrounding areas and woods.

“We are now stocking hiking gear, Mountain King walking poles, Salomon hiking boots, waterproof gear, light camping equipment and we also have energy drinks and bars as well as an extended clothing range for cyclists,” Jim told The Avondhu.

Given their close proximity to the schools, they are now also stocking Ridge 53 school bags and Jim explained that people no longer have to travel to the cities to get good quality trusted brands to suit a range of activities and needs. Certainly, shopping local will serve your needs.
