The Post Office in Mitchelstown has made the move from its location on Upper Cork Street to a new unit at Farrell’s SuperValu on New Square with Postmaster Sean Farrell at the helm.
The new office will offer the full range of An Post mail and financial products and services.
The purpose-fitted facility, which opened on Monday, will have its own entrance and boast three customer service counters and a parcel hatch.
New postmaster Sean Farrell, told The Avondhu that he hopes the move will add an extra dimension to the business, providing all customer services under the one roof.
It was a very busy opening day at the new premises and customers were full of praise for the new facility, all wishing Sean and Patricia Farrell and their staff all the very best for the future.
