Duntahane Veterinary Clinic continues to develop and grow under the new ownership of Eoin Barry. Eoin is from Castlelyons and is a past pupil of St Colman’s College.
He graduated from UCD Veterinary College in 2017 and started working as a mixed animal vet in Carlow. During that time, he completed a post graduate certificate in Dairy Herd Health from UCD.
In 2020, he joined the team at Duntahane Veterinary Clinic where he continued to develop his skills. In 2023, he went into partnership with Paul Redmond. As Paul is now pulling back from the day-to-day management of the practice, Eoin was delighted with the opportunity to take on full ownership.
Eoin is keen to continue the long tradition of top-quality care for farm animals and pets in the Fermoy area that stretches back 60 years. Eoin has a special interest in dairy cow veterinary, having grown up on a dairy farm where he still helps out. He enjoys small animal surgery as well as first opinion equine cases.
He looks forward to serving the locality for many years to come for all their veterinary needs.
