After 28 years in business in Mitchelstown, the Doody family has sold its pharmacy to Denis Buckley (MPharm) (MPSI).

Tim and his wife Rosemary are to retire from the pharmacy, which they purchased from Ben Corbett back in 1989.

Tim will remain on as a pharmacist with the new owner for two days a week for a period of time.

Tim and Rosemary would like to thank staff and customers for all their service and loyalty throughout their time at the pharmacy, located at Lower Cork Street.

New owner Denis Buckley said he was “delighted to get the opportunity to continue the tradition of great service at Doody’s Pharmacy” and is “looking forward to meeting all the customers.”
