Following on from the overwhelming success and popularity of last year’s seminar by Fergus Heffernan on mindfulness and managing your life, a new group is being established in Mitchelstown.

The group is aimed at helping people to become more mindful, attuned and in control of their lives, as many people who attended the seminar and three courses afterwards wanted supports and resources to be available locally.

Beginning on September 2, at 7.30pm, the group will meet once a month on Monday nights in the Town Hall, Mitchelstown and while priority has been given to those who attended the follow-on courses, remaining places are being offered to the public on a first come first served basis.

SELF SUSTAINABLE

To secure a place, please pay a €10 deposit to Ballyhoura Development at their office located on Baldwin Street and any other associated costs will be limited to €5 a month thereafter.

In order to get the group off the ground, Fergus has agreed to facilitate it for the first few months, so that it can become self sustainable and anyone who wants further information, can contact the Ballyhoura office on 025-85213.
