New defibrillator needed in Ballylanders

The people of Ballylanders are beginning their effort to fundraise to upgrade their life saving 13-year-old defibrillator to a more modern model. 

The life saving equipment has served the community for a number of years, but now needs to be updated.

Juliette McSweeney, of Ballylanders Community Council, said the community need funding to purchase the new unit. 

“We need to put it out into the community to look for funding, we will decide in the next week how we will fundraise,” she said.
