New cigarette bins aimed at tackling litter in Fermoy

The final round of judging in the ‘Fermoy A Cleaner Town’ competition will take place over the next 10 days.

The final round of judging in the ‘Fermoy A Cleaner Town’ competition will take place over the next 10 days, with the awards taking place on Tuesday, October 6, at 7.30pm in the Fermoy Youth Centre.

Project manager of Fermoy Tidy Towns, Paul Kavanagh, told The Avondhu that the last round of the competition will be part of a big push around the town, with judging for the Irish Business Against Litter competition also occurring.
