‘Nerves steady’ as Cathy prepares for all-Ireland showdown

Limerick forward Cathy Mee from Ballyorgan, says the nerves are calm as she contemplates travelling to Dublin for the All Ireland Junior Ladies’ Football Championship on the weekend after next. 

Following on from the Limerick ladies’ junior team one point win against Fermanagh last weekend, the Treaty team are set to take on Down in Croke Park for what Cathy says will be ‘a tight enough contest’ for the final on Sunday, August 13. 

“Down beat us by four points just weeks ago so I’d say it will be a tight enough match and it should be a good game,” Cathy told The Avondhu this week.
