Mooreabbey Milers AC are holding their annual 5 mile Road Run in Galbally on Saturday, 24th August at 7pm. This is race number 6 in the Limerick Ballyhoura Summer Series 2013. Registration is from 6pm in the rugby clubhouse and tea/coffee & refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards.

Anyone wishing to walk this fabulous course will start at 6.30pm, the race itself kicks off at 7pm. €10 entry for runners and €5 for walkers. Prizes for first 3 male and female runners and loads of category and spot prizes.

This year, the organisers are looking for team entries for non-athletic organisations or individuals wishing to enter a team, so from the GAA to the ICA, they are offering €100 cash prize for first team home – minimum of four per team.

“We are looking forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to our run in Galbally on what promises to be a great evening with many other events taking place in Galbally on the night as part of The Gathering celebrations,” Tom Blackburn said.
