An athlete who has represented Moldova at world championship level won last Sunday's John Hartnett 10k in Ballyhooly.

Sergiu Ciobanu of Clonliffe Harriers recorded a winning time of 31 minutes and 21 seconds. The race, which attracted 86 competitors, was run in ideal conditions.
