Minister Sean Sherlock has hailed the progress to date at Mitchelstown Enterprise Centre, as he believes that the centre will become a major driver of economic innovation in the locality.

“I have tracked and worked closely on this project, along with the Mitchelstown Forum and Enterprise Ireland, and I am delighted that the physical site is making so much progress,” said Minister Sherlock.

“Aside from the bricks and mortar, or the square feet rather, this centre will serve as an innovative beacon for those engaged economically in Mitchelstown and surrounding areas. Entrepreneurs and emerging businesses need a focal point to rally around, metaphorically and literally.”

Minister Sherlock expressed his hope that the official opening will prove to be a catalyst for the region’s potential entrepreneurs and businesses.

“The ideas and work ethic of the forum management in the centre gives me confidence in that regard, and I look forward to the final pieces of the jigsaw slotting into place,” he told The Avondhu.
