MEP Billy Kelleher pays a visit to Mitchelstown

Members of community groups and organisations came together in Mitchelstown as Member of the European Parliament, Billy Kelleher paid a visit to the area on Friday.

The visit kicked off as Mr Kelleher arrived at Forrest Hall in the heart of the town where he met with members of Mitchelstown Community Council.

Community Council chairperson, Sean Finn, welcomed Mr Kelleher to the town and to the popular central community facility, which opened in 2016.

Speaking at the visit, Mr Finn gave a brief background on the community council, the work they have done in Mitchelstown and upcoming projects, such as the FCA Hall and O’Connell Park.
