Last Saturday Mellerick’s Pharmacy in Fermoy received the Pharmacy of the Year 2017 award at the annual Retail Excellence Ireland Awards in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway.
16 members from Mellerick’s were at the award ceremony to celebrate their success, while Green Acres in Wexford were recognised as the overall National Store of the Year.
In the aftermath of the award, Orla Mellerick said this week that she is ‘delighted with all the positive comments and well wished we have received’, and that the award is a ‘great boost for the shop and for the town’. She said Fermoy has always been ‘very supportive’ to their business endeavors.
