Fermoy musician Conor Casolani recently had the opportunity to meet Irish music sensation Niall Horan and listen to a sound check, as well as attend his concert in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin, after winning a competition through Cork’s RedFM.
This was Conor’s second success with RedFM this year, after winning the opportunity to meet-and-greet Ed Sheeran, before watching him perform in the 3Arena in April.
Conor has had a busy year on the music circuit; he qualified for the final of the Teenstars Ireland singing competition, held in Dublin in June, after making it through numerous auditions and wowing judges with his singing and musical ability.
The opportunity to meet his hero, Ed Sheeran then followed, after winning a song-writing competition organised by RedFM.
Conor braved the weather last Saturday and was on the streets of Fermoy, busking for Cork Penny Dinners during the Fermoy Festival.
Despite only managing to perform for an hour due to the rain, Conor raised an excellent €180 for the local charity organisation.
