VICE PRESIDENT'S PRIZE

In our first major of the year beautiful weather conditions and a course in great order made conditions ideal for Tim O’Leary’s prize over the weekend but it did not make scores easy to come by. Mary Beecher played on Saturday and would have thought her score of 70 would be well tested before Sunday evening came. However when all was totalled up she had 3pts to spare over 2nd placed Fiona Howard who will rue a 7 on the 3rd hole.

73 proved to be the score of the day on Sunday with Betty Joyce, Katherine Moynihan and Patricia Bolger McCarthy also hitting the 73 mark to take gross, 3rd and 4th prizes respectively.
