Malin to Mizen vintage fundraiser goes off without a hitch!

Malin Head to Mizen Head, a 430-mile trip, was recently conquered by five men and their vintage tractors as part of a fundraising run in memory of the late Joe Butler from Mayfield.
The run, which set out on June 2, was undertaken by Rathcormac man, Tom Fitzgerald and Mitchelstown’s Kieran O’Donoghue, alongside West Cork locals James Keohane and John Mulcahy, as well as Joe’s brother, Kilkenny man Keith Butler.
“The run went fantastic to be fair. All five tractors made it with little in terms of breakdowns or punctures,” a relieved Tom Fitzgerald told The Avondhu.
