St Colman’s College, Fermoy claimed a maiden win in the All-Ireland Schools junior golf competition last week, taking the title by two strokes at Athlone Golf Club on Wednesday, April 20th.
Students Eoin Carey, Jack Scannell, Jeff Ennis and Diarmuid Doherty claimed the title for St Colman’s, two weeks on from their triumph in the Munster championship in Chareville.
St Colman’s finished ahead of St Kieran’s College, Kilkenny, Presentation College, Athenry and Friends’ School, Lisburn.
