Louise Morrissey to headline Fermoy Community Hospital fundraiser

Louise Morrissey will top the bill for a much anticipated fundraiser in aid of St Patrick’s Hospital, Fermoy – to take place in December.

One of the country's foremost country and Irish singers, Louise Morrissey, is the main attraction at a fully seated concert in Corrin Events Centre, Fermoy on Friday, 6th December.

The much anticipated event is a fundraiser for St. Patrick's Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association. The concert launch took place at the host venue on Monday night last with special guests (swimmer Owen O'Keefe and jockey Davy Russell) and sponsors all lending their support to the December gig.

Among those in attendance were, Dave Ryan, representing the event's main sponsor, Amber Service Station, Fermoy along with other financial backers: Noel Hickey (East Cork Oil), Tony Glavin (Glavin & Ronan Accountants, Fermoy) and Charles McCarthy (McCarthy Insurance Group). Corrin Events Centre was represented by Catherine Dorgan.

Speaking at the launch, fundraising association chairman, Tom Higgins said 'there was a treat in store for music lovers' and he urged as many people as possible to come out and support the event. Association PRO, Cllr Tadhg O'Donovan said that the 'concert package' included: wine reception, party food, a performance by 4 piece band Allegro as well as the main event - Gary Gamble and The Ryan Turner Band who will play support on the night.
