Limerick Charity Race Day (www.limerickcharityraceday.ie) took place on Monday. The special event was to raise funds for two Irish jockeys, John Thomas McNamara and Jonjo Bright who, earlier this year, experienced career-ending and life-changing injuries.

A cheque for €1,500 which was collected from all the staff at Bartlemy-based company TVM and IRIS was presented on Monday by Declan Hoskins and Bart Arnold to Frank Moran of The Injured Jockeys Fund.
