A local refrigerated transport company based out of Fermoy was awarded with a National Fleet Transport Award at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin on Thursday, October 11. 

The awards, hosted by RTE Radio 1 presenter Shay Byrne, are highly recognised in the transport industry and award best practice in what is a very challenging sector.

Owned by Mitchelstown man Noel Brennan, Brennan Refrigerated Transport received what was the second Fleet award for the company, having also won back in 2017.

The company run a fleet of modern Scania trucks and multi-temperature trailers with satellite tracking, all of which leave the Fermoy base at Silver Pail Dairies 365 days a year.

The independent adjudication panel were impressed how transport company has built its reputation over the past 21 years for unrivalled service and constant innovation in a family run business, while remaining environmentally friendly and cost efficient.
