Tallow-based company BH Tree Services will receive a national award from the National Irish Safety Organisation at the 2015 All-Ireland Occupational Safety Awards, being held in Galway next month.

The Awards, which are run in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Safety Group, recognise how organisations manage health and safety at work. The 2015 ceremony is being held on Friday, October 2 in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway.

BH Tree Services was established in 2005 by Liam Barry and Matt Harpur, and has grown into a business employing over 50 people locally. At the ceremony, the company will be presented a Major Category 2 Award.

Mr Barry said the award is a recognition of the high emphasis they place on safety in their business.
