Lismore named ‘Ireland’s Top Small Tourism Town’

Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring TD and Fáilte Ireland, have congratulated Lismore on being crowned ‘Best National Small Tourism Town’.

At the presentation were, l-r: Mary O’Brien (secretary Lismore Tidy Towns), Justine Carey (Fáilte Ireland), Orla Carroll (director strategic development Fáilte Ireland); Mealla Fahey (Lismore Heritage Centre), Ciaran Mullooly (RTE), Minister Micheal Ring, Susan Cronin (chairperson Lismore Tidy Towns), Alice O’Donoghue (Lismore Heritage Centre) and Mary Houlihan (Tourism Officer Waterford City and County Council).

Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring TD and Fáilte Ireland, have congratulated Lismore on being crowned ‘Best National Small Tourism Town’ at the fourth annual Tourism Towns Awards which took place in The Morrison Hotel, in Dublin last Wednesday.

Tralee came out on top in the National Large Tourism Town category.
