The crew of the LÉ Eithne Naval Ship were in Kilworth this week inspecting a replica of their ship, which one local family created.

Crew of the LÉ Eithne Naval Ship were in Kilworth this week inspecting a replica of their ship, which one local family created to highlight the courageous work of the Irish Naval Service during the ongoing refugee crisis.

The float was created by the Towey family – Dave and Niamh, along with their children Niall, Diarmuid, Aodaoin and David, as part of the Kilworth Festival fancy dress parade which was held recently.
