Trainee Manager Lauren Hogan of the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, was announced as the winner of the IHF Cork Branch Employee of the Year on Thursday.
Joining the Talbot Hotel Group in 2013, Lauren began her career with the Talbot Hotel in Wexford as waiting staff.

She represented the Talbot Wexford at the Rose of Tralee in 2014, and was accepted onto the Trainee Management programme of the Talbot Hotel Group, of which the Oriel House Hotel is a member, in 2015.
Lauren moved to Oriel House Hotel in September 2015 and is currently completing the kitchen element of her training.
Ronan Fahy, General Manager of the Oriel House Hotel described Lauren as “dedicated, reliable and responsible, giving 100% commitment”.
