Gardai are investigating the theft of a large number of galvanised gates from the yard at Glanbia, Bridesbridge, Castlelyons. The thieves struck sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

29 of the large agricultural-type gates were stolen in the daring robbery. Gardai believe three men were involved and that a trailer and loader were used to load up the gates and transport them from the premises. They are seeking information from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
