Works to make Labbacalle Cross safer are to be carried out in due course, following on from a motion by Cllr Noel McCarthy at a recent Fermoy Area Electoral Committee meeting. He explained that because of an embankment at the cross, visibility is poor, making the cross dangerous. Works to lower the embankment, therefore improving visibility, will be carried out he said.
