Plans are underway for the annual Christmas dinner for senior citizens organised by Kilworth Community Council.

It’ll be held on Sunday, December 1st at St Martin’s school hall in the village. The annual event has proved most popular over the years and is always eagerly awaited. As well as enjoying a full Christmas dinner, entertainment is laid on for the enjoyment of those who attend and is being provided this year by the inimitable Jimmy O’Donoghue. Dinner will be served at 2.30pm sharp.

For catering purposes, the organisers need people who intend going along on the day to confirm their attendance by Tuesday, November 26th at the latest. People can ring Carol on 025-27128 or Vera on 025-27321.
