On Sunday next, July 20th our club outing takes place, when we visit St Stephens Club in Glanmire. We assemble in the square ready to leave at 11.30am.
On reaching St Stephens we will have light refreshments before heading for the tee boxes. We will have a 4-ball and 3-ball competition before going to Vienna Woods Hotel for an evening meal. We are looking forward to playing on the course it will test the pitching and putting ability of our members.
Despite the attraction of the other small game we had a good turnout for our competition last Sunday, the winners were Derry Walsh and Margaret Kiely on a score of 42.
VISIT OF FERMOY
On Tuesday evening, July 29, we welcome our neighbours Fermoy Pitch and Putt Club to our course for a friendly four-ball competition.
