Patrick Russell, who is originally from Castlecooke, Kilworth married Melanie Ilemsky in a hot air balloon in the Pennsylvanian skies last week.
The couple have received huge media reaction to their unconventional wedding in recent days and it is certainly a day they will remember forever more.
Patrick met his wife Melanie at ‘Skydive the Ranch’ in Gardiner, New York which he attended just over 2 years ago to attain his skydiving licence.
As love first blossomed in the sky above, it seems only fitting that they would take the leap together on their wedding day and complete a skydive from the hot air balloon, having exchanged their vows.
