It's a tried and trusted formula that continues to raise funds for a variety of good causes. On Sunday morning last, the 10th annual Killavullen tractor run took place in aid of Marymount Hospice.

Conditions were perfect along the Blackwater as a fine selection of vintage and modern tractors assembled in the vicinity of Killavullen Community Centre.

Registration was completed without undue delay and after getting a run down on the dos and don'ts of this event, it was soon time to depart.

Locals turned out in force to see off the colourful convoy as they toured a section of the north Cork countryside.
