Interior designer, Maura Hunter from Killavullen will feature on RTE’s ‘At Your Service’ Christmas Special at 8pm on St Stephen’s night on RTÉ One.
Maura was approached to redesign Casa Respite Centre in Malahide, having a project on the West County Hotel Ennis previously recorded for the new 2014 series of At Your Service. The show hosts are hotel experts, John and Francis Brennan.
The Christmas Special follows the restoration of a the CASA respite breakhouse which has been running its respite breaks services for people with disabilities since 1989.
With a time scale of four days and no budget available, Maura redesigned the kitchen, hall and sitting room.
“I have huge respect for the commitment shown by all the volunteers who were involved in the project," Maura said.
