Kildorrery Karate Club Compete at the European SKDUN Championships in Hungary

Congratulations are well deserved for three Kildorrery Karate Club’s junior members who travelled to Budapest last Friday with their family members and Sensei Martin Sheehan to compete in the SKDUN European championships.

Congratulations are well deserved for three Kildorrery Karate Club’s junior members who travelled to Budapest last Friday with their family members and Sensei Martin Sheehan to compete in the SKDUN European championships.

Alfie Carey won silver in Kumite, Eugene O’Donoghue came in the final 8 in Kumite, his brother John O’Donoghue won silver in Kumite. Sensei Martin Sheehan won bronze in senior men’s Kumite and also won bronze in the master’s event.

Your fellow team members of Kildorrery Karate Club and families are very proud of the boys and Sensei Sheehan for a fantastic result and once again showing what they can achieve following dedication and enthusiasm to their sport and a good attitude to training.

Training continues as usual in Kildorrery GAA Hall Wednesdays and Fridays from 7pm and beginners’ class is at 6.30pm every Wednesday. New members are always welcome.
