This year's coffee morning in aid of St Joseph's Foundation in Charleville recorded another astounding success, as the event in Kildorrery raised €2,100.

Orna Cogan has been running the coffee morning as an annual event for the past four years and the day was made up of tea, coffee, treats, cakes, face painting and a bric-a-brac sale, craft and pottery sale.

Over the past few years, Orna has raised more than €12,000 for St Joseph's Foundation through the coffee mornings, church gate collections and bag packs.

She thanked everyone who helped out with the event in Kildorrery at the beginning of March, all those who donated baked goods or items for sale and everyone who donated so generously towards the very worthy cause.
