There were smiles all around at the weekend, as Pat O'Sullivan from Kilbehenny went home from the National Lottery Winning Streak Game Show on RTE on Saturday night with €52,000.

Pat works for Kerry County Council and for the past 15 years, himself, Eileen Moynihan, Catherine O’Connor, Mary Horan and Linda McGillycuddy have been part of a syndicate. They all worked for the council and now Mary and Linda are both retired.

Speaking before he went on the popular game show, Pat said that work had been crazy with everyone wishing him luck and while he said that he doesn't think he's very lucky, he did get five numbers in the Lotto once. The winning ticket was bought in Joseph O’Connor's Spar Express/Maxol, Clash Cross, Tralee.

EURODISNEY

On the night, Pat won a car worth €30,000, but he got an all cash prize, as it had to be split among the syndicate members. The overall winnings were split five ways and with his share, Pat is planning to bring his wife Yvonne and two children, Rachael (11) and Oisin (7), on a trip to Eurodisney.
