Limerick manager John Kiely says his players are ready for one final push as they prepare to face Galway this Sunday in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final at Croke Park.
The sides are due to battle it out over the Liam McCarthy Cup from 3:30pm this Sunday, July 19, eight years after the Treaty County defeated Galway by a single point in the 2018 decider to end the county’s 45-year wait at the time for an All-Ireland title.
Speaking to The Avondhu last week following their semi-final win over Clare, John Kiely said the players were given a short window of recovery before returning to the training field for an intense build-up.
