Ornua, Ireland’s largest exporter of primary Irish dairy products, is showcasing its full range of Kerrygold products at Anuga 2017 – the world’s largest food trade fair.

The fair is being held in Germany where Kerrygold Butter remains established as the number one butter brand on the market.

Ornua, in a €38 million development, built a butter production and packing facility for its iconic brand, Kerrygold, in Mitchelstown, which opened in September 2016.

The plant has the capacity to produce 50,000 tonnes of butter per year.

Last year saw the successful launch of Kerrygold Yogurts in Germany with 20 million pots sold over a 12-month period. The brand continues to enjoy steady growth and success in the country.
