Ornua, Ireland’s largest exporter of primary Irish dairy products, is showcasing its full range of Kerrygold products at Anuga 2017 – the world’s largest food trade fair.

The fair is being held in Germany where Kerrygold Butter remains established as the number one butter brand on the market.

Ornua, in a €38 million development, built a butter production and packing facility for its iconic brand, Kerrygold, in Mitchelstown, which opened in September 2016.

The plant has the capacity to produce 50,000 tonnes of butter per year.

Last year saw the successful launch of Kerrygold Yogurts in Germany with 20 million pots sold over a 12-month period. The brand continues to enjoy steady growth and success in the country.

Ornua is looking for graduates to join their team with their industry-leading graduate programme now open for applications until October 19, 2017.

With opportunities across the business, from Information and Communication Technology to HR and Sales and Marketing to Supply Chain Management and more, the Graduate Programme is of 18-month duration which will offer graduates a chance to build a range of business skills, gaining valuable experience in one of Ireland’s most vibrant businesses.

Candidates will undertake two placements as part of the programme, which includes time overseas for most participants. In 2016, 18 graduates joined the company and, this year, 14 new trainees will form the intake for 2017.

Applications for the 2018 programme will close on October 19 and successful candidates will start in September 2018.
