KILWORTH CAMOGIE CLUB
What a fantastic night it was last Thursday night for our first night of juvenile camogie training! We were overwhelmed by the massive turn out, over 100 girls from U8-U16 turned up both eager and ready to train with Kilworth camogie for the very first time!
It was a wonderful sight, one we have longed to see for a long time and it was great to see every girl having so much fun!
This was just the first night of training but the coaches and we’re sure the girls too, can’t wait to get back down there again tonight to get going again! The future is very bright for Kilworth camogie.
The club would like to extend massive thank you to all the parents for getting your children involved and for coming down last week and we hope to see you all again tonight.
The more parents we have present and the more parents we have willing to get involved in any small way at all will make training and the club more successful in the long run.
Also, we want to say a massive thank you to our wonderful coaches for getting involved and for making the commitment to train the girls every week. Roll on tonight and roll on the future!
Parents we ask you to please keep an eye on the text message you receive with regards to where your daughter is training tonight, i.e. pitch or parish field. Due to the recent bad weather and the availability of pitches, the location of training may change week to week but you will be notified.
JUNIOR FIXTURE REFIXED FOR TOMORROW NIGHT
Following the bad weather we suffered last week, the original junior fixture had to be postponed until tomorrow night, Friday night, April 15th when Castlelyons travel to Kilworth for a 7pm throw-in.
