After coming fourth in last year’s Junior Eurovision, the best result for an Irish entry in any Eurovision for 25 years, the search is on for the next Irish Junior Eurovision 2023 entry. Who will represent Ireland this November?
Each year, the best young singers, aged 9-14, from across Europe compete in this huge event. But who will represent Ireland? The fun-filled Irish selection show is hosted by Louise Cantillon and Darragh Ó Caoimh with resident judges Niamh Ní Chróinín and Aindriú de Paor.
Over the series the best young singers, aged 9-14, from around Ireland will compete in the competition. Numerous young people took part in auditions over the past number of months, and we now get to see who made it through the initial heats.
This year’s winner will head to France in November to take on Europe with a song composed especially for them. Once again, the final decision will be made by you, the viewers!
To add to the excitement, each week the Junior Eurovision resident judges are joined by a special guest judge from Eurovision fame! Including Niamh Kavanagh, Brooke Scullion, Conor O’Donohoe from Wild Youth and Ryan O’Shaughnessy.
