Lismore Dramatic Society’s youth section presents ‘The Rocky Horror Tribute Show’

Ballyduff Community Hall in Ballyduff Upper, Co Waterford will play host on Saturday, 12th October to a new theatre show, 'Mag Mell' by Jon Kenny, Des Dillon, Benny McCarthy and a fantastic cast of top actors, musicians and dancers.
The show which took 2 years to put together, showcases original stories, music, song, dance and visuals. Jon Kenny of D’Unbelievables fame displays his wonderful talents in acting, singing and comedy alongside Des Dillons master artwork (props & puppets); music and sounds are all composed and designed by Benny McCarthy (from the band Danú) and Conal O’Gráda (virtouso flute player and composer); dance is by ex-Riverdancer Caitlín Nic Gabhainn alongside musicians Colm Murphy (ex-De Dannan bodhran player), Ciarán Ó’Maonaigh (TG4 Young Musician 2003) and actress/singer, Katie Holly.
'Mag Mell' is the name of a mythological Island found off the coast of Ireland and the show tells the story of off what happens when PJ Foley(played by Jon), a local councillor/developer tries to change it and make a hotel resort. PJ meets with the Bean Feasa on the Island and a whole story is unveiled full of visuals, music, song, dance and fun.
‘Mag Mell’ has already been performed in counties Tipperary, Limerick and Clare over the past few weeks, Ballyduff Upper will be its Waterford debut. The performances is for one night only on Saturday 12th October at 8pm.
