Tough going for Fermoy Film Festival
The much loved Cork troubador John Spillane will head over the county bounds to Galbally in Co Limerick for a concert on Saturday night, April 25th.
Christy Moore rates John to be his favourite Irish singer/songriter and to prove it, has recorded a number of his songs such as 'Lobby Nights In The Lobby Bar', 'Johnny Don't Go To Ballincollig' and the lovely 'Gortatagort'.
Spillane will bring his own unique brand of humour and entertainment to Galbally Community Centre on the 25th and, as he says himself, will his audience over 'one by one'. "You are going to fall under my spell," words that are never far from the truth at a John Spillane concert.
Tickets are €15 (€10 for children) and can be reserved by calling Jim on 087-2204438 or Tim on 062-37919.
The concert is being run by Galbally Tidy Towns committee and while any funds raised from it will be welcome, it is also a means of bringing the community together for an evening where they can join with their neighbours and friends and enjoy some great music together!
