There will be a range of job opportunities for candidates highlighted at next week’s Career Zoo, Ireland’s premier career event. Career Zoo takes place Saturday, 15th October at the Convention Centre, Dublin.
A number of companies from across the country, such as Tipperary-based company Eirechrom, Waterford-based company Eurofins and Limerick-based company FRS Recruitment will be attending Career Zoo looking to fill positions across a number of sectors, such as technology, biotech and financial services.
Speaking in advance of the event, Jackie Slattery, Director of Career Zoo, said: “Over the past number of years that we’ve been running Career Zoo we’ve noticed a real increase in the quality of candidates attending the event. They are highly professional, looking for opportunities to progress, and for companies that offer them family-friendly, flexible work options and non-pay-related perks.
“The big shift is that it’s now a candidate’s market, rather than an employer’s market, and some of the organisations attending recent Career Zoos have made over 20 direct hires as a result, so we would be encouraging candidates from Tipperary, Limerick, Waterford and Cork to come along next Saturday to see what’s on offer to them from companies such as Eirechrom and FRS Recruitment.”
Career Zoo is Ireland’s premier career networking event, taking place twice each year at The Convention Centre Dublin. It attracts leading tech employers and over 7,000 attendees each time.
Career Zoo on 15th October will have approximately 50 employers in attendance, including financial services and biopharma companies, in addition to tech-industry leaders.
The line-up will include panel discussions focused on topics such as future tech, cyber security, FinTech, big data and BioTech. There will also be coding workshops, hacks, and a series of talks on promoting diversity in tech.
The sponsors for October’s Career Zoo are: Bank of Ireland, BMS, Enterprise Ireland, EY and Pramerica.
